Applying

To be considered for opportunities at IMC Amsterdam, please submit your resume and cover letter to the vacancy for which you are most qualified for on our vacancy site. Upon receipt of your application, our skilled recruiters will review it to determine whether you are among the most qualified candidates for the position. We will then contact you via email or phone to discuss next steps in the procedure. Please note that some vacancies might have a fixed closing date.   

Please keep in mind that there could also be fixed time lines for some positions. If this is the case it will be mentioned in the vacancy details. The selection, test and interview procedure for these roles will also happen within fixed timelines so please make sure you apply and complete the follow up steps within the given time lines.

If there are no time lines mentioned it means that recruitment is an ongoing process.

Testing

Assessments will be part of the procedure for most positions. Depending on the position you apply for the assessment can vary from aptitude, mental calculation or technical skills tests or personality questionnaires. Depending on the nature of the test some can be taken from home. Additional information will be provided once you have been selected to participate in this step of the recruitment process.

Interviewing

After the initial screening and/or assessments, you will be informed if you have been selected to continue with the interview procedure. Generally the interviews will be conducted by recruiters, team members/leads and managers.  Depending on your location and the role you applied for the first interviews will be conducted by phone or face-to-face. All final interviews will be held at our offices. More information about your interview will be provided together with the interview invitation.

Meeting us

If you are interested to learn more about us, there are several opportunities to meet us. During the year we will be present at recruitment fairs of universities in Europe. Or come to one of our in-house days at our offices in Amsterdam. For information about in-house days and events in your area visit our events site.

Joining us

If you have been successful in passing all the stages of the recruitment procedure we will make you an employment offer.  New employees will start their career with an individually tailored orientation program.  Some new hires, e.g. Junior traders will participate in an extensive international traineeship.
